How to Go to Puerto Galera by Commute

Puerto Galera is just 3 hours away from Manila. With a wide variety of scenery, activities and beach parties, Puerto Galera has everything you need for an awesome travel vacation destination. It is the closest to Manila and one of the great beach party places from Manila because most of the great beaches in Batangas are privately owned.

How to Go to Puerto Galera by Commute

Coming from Manila, the only way you can get to Puerto Galera is by land-sea route. There  is a huge number of bus companies located in Manila and they are as follows:
  1. Bus Terminals located along Buendia in Pasay City
  2. Bus Terminal near Ali Mall, Araneta Center, Cubao in Quezon City.
  3. Bus Terminal in EDSA corner Kamias Street in Quezon City.
  4. Bus Terminal in Alabang in Muntinlupa City.
Ride the bus going straight to Batangas pier via CALABARZON Expressway. Travel time is usually 2 hours from Manila but can take up to 3 hours if traffic is bad.

Upon arrival in Batangas pier, go to Terminal 3 and find the ticket booth of the ferry going to Puerto Galera.  There are a lot of ferries going to Puerto Galera with different entry points namely: White Beach, Muelle Pier, Balatero Pier and Sabang Beach.

There are many shipping companies at the Batangas City Pier. The major passenger ferries are Father and Son Shipping Lines Minolo Shipping Lines and Galerian Lines.

How Much Will it Cost?

Bus Ride from Manila to Batangas Pier : Approx. 200Php / Head (2-3 Hours Travel Time)
One way Ferry Trip from Batangas to Puerto Galera: Approx. 200-250Php / Head (1 Hour Travel Time)
